ReX 42´s first meeting with computer music was when he laid his hands on a TI-99/4A. Then a C64 followed by a Amiga 500. At this time known as Orpheus, Rex42 produced around 90 songs in demo groups like BBC, Necropolis, D-Mob and Def Jam. After a few years it was time for an Atari and the world of MIDI. The first group, Marshmellows, was formed and went on to go on stage at the Waterfestival in Stockholm. Since then Rex 42 has made music in different forms and using different names. From housereleases in Miami to abstract beats all over Europe. He has played, staged and DJ-ed everything from the Hultsfredsfestival to small clubs all around Scandinavia.
Now Rex42 is back to his former roots...
